Last weeks announcement of plans for a new MEGA development for Colwood Corners has created quite a stir.the project,estimated between $600 million and $1 Billion would be a decade long and establish a new residential/commercial centre in Colwood on the westshore of greater Victoria B.C.Don't hold your breath however,as this will require a change to the official community plan and major questions regarding traffic have not even been addressed,

The Bayview Developement

An article in Tuesdays Times Colonist:,Victoria's local paper; features an interview with Ken Mariash,a Calgary based developer,launching the marketing effort for "Bayview",a massive condo/townhouse community overlooking Victoria, Canada's inner harbour.Now under construction,the $400 million first phase of what will eventually be a $1billion project,featuring high end condos starting in the $400,000 range for a 1 Bd.Rm. and $700,000 range for a 2Bd.Rm. Penthouses will sell between $2-$3 million.
